01About these terms
These terms cover your use of mrusedtire.ca and anything you book, quote or order through it. The site is run by Mr. Used Tire, 6707 Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5N 3W2. By using the site, booking a time or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site, and call us at (905) 813-7272 instead.
02Bookings
A booking holds an hour for your vehicle. Please arrive on time and bring the details you gave us (vehicle, tire size, tires on rims or not). If you're late or the job needs more work than booked, we may need to move you to the next open time. You can change or cancel a booking with the link in your confirmation email or by calling us. Walk-ins are welcome, but booked customers go first.
03Quotes
A quote is our price for the work and tires described in it, based on what you told us. It's good for the time shown on the quote, while stock lasts. If your vehicle or tires turn out to need something different, we'll tell you and give you a new price before we do any extra work.
04Prices, stock and orders
Prices are in Canadian dollars and don't include HST unless we say so. We do our best to keep prices, photos and stock on the site correct, but mistakes happen. If an item is priced wrong or sold out, we'll contact you before your install and you can change or cancel your order at no charge. An order is confirmed once we email you a confirmation.
05Paying
You can pay at the shop when you come in, or online by card where that's offered. Online payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
06Changes, cancellations and refunds
If you're paying at the shop, you can change or cancel an order up to an hour before your install. If you paid online, call us at (905) 813-7272 to change or cancel, and we'll refund your card for anything we haven't installed. Once tires are mounted on your vehicle, any return or exchange is handled at the counter, case by case.
07Warranties
New tires come with the manufacturer's warranty, where one applies. Used tires are inspected before we sell them, but they're sold based on their condition at the time of sale. Any shop warranty we offer on a tire or job will be written on your invoice. Please keep your invoice.
08Your vehicle
Tell us about anything we should know before we start, like wheel locks, sensor issues or damage. Re-torque your wheels after the first 50 to 100 km, or come back and we'll do it for you. We aren't responsible for problems that were already there before your vehicle came in.
09Tire advice on this site
Our guides, FAQ, tire size lookup and chat assistant give general information. They aren't a replacement for checking your tire placard, your owner's manual or asking us in person. The chat assistant is automated and can get things wrong. A quote, invoice or answer from our staff is what counts.
10Your account
Keep access to your email account secure, since that's how you sign in. You're responsible for what's done under your account. We may close an account that's used to abuse the site or our staff.
11Using the site
Don't misuse the site: no spam, fake bookings, scraping, or trying to break into it. Photos, text, drawings and logos on the site belong to Mr. Used Tire or their owners, and tire brand logos are trademarks of their brands.
12Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using the site, such as lost time or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on the site when you book or order is the one that applies.
