01Who we are
Mr. Used Tire runs mrusedtire.ca. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We follow Canada's private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).
02What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, email, phone number, vehicle (year, make, model), tire size, and any notes when you book, ask for a quote, order or send a message. If you make an account, we keep your saved vehicles, orders, quotes and appointments. If you sign up for emails, we keep your email and the date you agreed.
03Why we use it
To book you in, prepare your tires, send your confirmation, reminders, quotes and receipts, answer your questions, and run the shop. We only send deals and seasonal reminders if you ticked the box to get them.
04Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share only what's needed with the services that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and data storage), Stripe (card payments, if you pay online), our email and text message providers (to send confirmations and reminders), and Anthropic (to answer questions you type into the chat assistant). Some of these services may store data outside Canada.
05Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in to your account, and your browser's storage to remember your cart and recent chat. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
06Emails and texts
Booking confirmations, reminders and receipts are part of the service you asked for. Deals and seasonal emails are optional: every one has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to take you off the list. You can turn off text reminders when you book.
07How long we keep it
We keep booking, order and invoice records as long as we need them to run the shop and as the law requires for tax records. You can ask us to delete your account and anything we don't legally need to keep.
08Your choices
You can ask to see, fix or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@mrusedtire.ca or call (905) 813-7272, and we'll reply within 30 days.
09Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
